Devoke Water - Lake District Walk
Sunday 29th June 2008
The location for today's walk was picked in part because it is a favourite place of ours and also because I wanted to head out to an area I knew well in order to see how much walking my ankle would cope with. There had been quite a few showers during the morning so when the afternoon appeared to promise a dry slot we made a quick exit from the campsite and headed to Birker Fell and had Devoke Water to ourselves.
